Agriculture
The use of EO technology in agriculture is helping to address a host of challenges, improving farm profitability and resource efficiency whilst contributing to sustainability goals. Copernicus CLMS provides vast amounts of smart data, which public authorities, advisors and economists, can use to better inform their analysis and decision-making, especially related to the Common Agriculture Policy (CAP). A range of products can also be used by agriculturists and help them.
In the area of agriculture, EvoLand is currently developing 3 candidate prototypes:
- Cover crop type mapping
- Cropland/grassland GPP monitoring
- Small landscape features mapping
